5 Ways to Make Your Morning Routine Luxurious

It has been tough the past year as we live the same routine day in and day out. We are at home, wake up, work, eat, sleep, rinse and repeat. The past few weeks I’ve been committed to making a change and incorporating small ways to feel luxurious into my everyday morning routine so that every day has a little something special to it.

Here are 5 ways to make your morning routine more luxurious and special:

1. Drink your fresh pressed juice in a champagne glass

I am a huge fan of fresh pressed juice, which alone tends to elevate my mornings. To take it one step further, try adding your morning juice to a champagne or wine glass to make your experience that much more luxurious. It may seem simple but I promise you, it instantly makes you feel special.

Think of journaling, meditating, listening to your favourite music, reading a book, taking a bath or just spending a little extra time on your get ready routine without the rush. 

4. Eat breakfast in bed, just because you can. 

We tend to save breakfast in bed for hotels or special occasions. The truth is, we can have breakfast in bed anytime we need the little extra boost in our day. Prep some of your favourite breakfast items and serve yourself the dream breakfast in bed even if it’s just a typical Wednesday.

5. Order a fancy coffee for delivery. 

 Being treated to something always lifts our feelings of luxury. When we are always having to make our own coffee or prepare everything ourselves, it becomes harder to feel “taken care of”. That said, there are plenty of options now to order yourself something special for your morning, like a fancy coffee for delivery. Try ordering from a local artisanal spot that might be needing the business right now just as much as you might be needing the delivery.
