I had the pleasure of exploring the Bay of Quinte and the little yet historic town of Belleville and discovered it is a perfect weekend getaway. Just 2.5 hours from Toronto and 3 hours from Montreal, this spot is such a fun stop off, whether thats for the day while on your way, or for a whole weekend of adventure. This region serves up all the ingredients for a perfect getaway, on its shores you’ll find fascinating history, quaint villages, inspiring art, live theatre / music and gastronomic delights.

Pro Tip: You should absolutely rent a bike! Almost everything is right in one main strip downtown, but there is also a bike path all along the canal you can take to get to the park and Pop-up Shops at the Bay, or head north towards the Signal Brewery.
